I’m Andree Stevensson, a tennis coach based in Miami, Florida. Born and raised in Sweden, I fell in love with tennis at a young age. Today I coach full time and specialize in high performance training. I have guided players to compete in, and win some of the most prestigious tournaments in the nation.
My coaching philosophy is grounded in holistic thinking, supported by both broad formal education and practical experience. To develop into a good player, technical and tactical skills combined with physical and mental strength is needed. I don’t believe in quick fixes, I believe in intentional work and consistent routines that build results over time.
Being a good player is not about swinging a textbook forehand. It’s about understanding one’s own strengths and building a game around them. My role is to help my players make the most of their current tools, develop new ones, and piece everything together to reach their full potential. The best players are also the fittest players, so I place strong emphasis on physical conditioning.
I also believe in building a strong, respectful relationship with my players, because high performance is a long journey. In short, my coaching philosophy comes down to: train smart, train hard, stay disciplined, and enjoy the process.

As a Player

As a player, I played on a full scholarship at a small private college in Iowa.
I was nationally ranked top 30 in collegiate tennis and peaked at a UTR of 12 (approximating low ATP level, or top WTA level). I still hit occasionally, and am still a high level hitting partner.
